We live in an age of overabundance. Our wasteful consumer habits are harmful to us and our environment. We have forgotten how to make time to eat. To enjoy food. We eat too fast and more than is good for us. In doing so, we produce enormous quantities of waste. The key to this problem lies in the human stomach: Kodo tackles this problem at the root and awakens our conscience – without pointing fingers.

Kodo creates a stage for food, inspires us to be creative with food, to cook, to scoop less and to eat more slowly. The plea for a conscious and natural food culture is supported in the design through an organic styling with light asymmetries.
